This event is for registered interpreters and/or translators who identify as neurodivergent. You do not need to have received a formal diagnosis. I have set this system up as a way to accept deposits and collate a list of attendees. For people wanting to attend *without* accommodation, the fee is £190 inclusive. For anyone who also wants to add on bed & breakfast for both Friday/Saturday nights, the fee is £300 inclusive. This fee covers room hire for three days, several rounds of teas/coffees per day and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. (Possibly Friday too, if people want to get in a bit earlier and we can start with lunch.) Attendees will need to source their own travel to the venue and dinner will be an additional cost. To secure the booking, we need to provide them with 25% of the fee. This works out as approximately £70 each - although I appreciate that it is a bit higher than 25% for people attending for the days only. (Sorry, there isn't really another way for me to do it.) The bookings page should also give you the option to pay in full if you prefer to get it out of the way. If you would prefer to pay in instalments, please contact me directly and I can set you up wth a payment plan. The payment will need to be cleared in full by February 2027. Please note that if you commit to attending, there will be an expectation that you pay the full amount even if you can no longer attend - I am trusting people to honour that agreement, so that I am not left out of pocket. You are also agreeing to use a shared language, so that the event is accessible to everyone. This means that if deaf people attend, the primary shared language will be BSL. I have structured the programme so that everyone has sufficient eye and processing rest breaks, and we can work together to share language support as needed.
