Service Description

Split over two weeks, this interactive workshop will provide space for you to: - explore some of theoretical frameworks centred around the neurodiversity paradigm - discuss the politics of 'person first' Vs 'identity first' language - gain an understanding of how dynamic neurodivergent conditions are and why they present so differently in people - consider how certain neurodivergent traits could be a useful asset in the interpreting & translating professions, as well as the coping strategies many neurodivergent professionals utilise to do their job - discuss how executive functionality, empathy and social and linguistic cultural variation is discussed within neurodivergent communities
